About Gregory Dorosh

Gregory Dorosh Let's get acquainted with artist Greg Dorosh. Greg is primarily a landscape / still life painter. His art can be considered representational / impressionist style. He considers himself to be an Impressionist.
Greg became interested in art at an early age. At first, his interest was architecture. He designed
houses with floor plans. When he entered middle school, fine arts became his passion.

Greg is a self - study independent artist, attending art workshops.

In 1973, Greg moved to West Palm Beach, Florida where he continued to pursue his art. His first commission was to paint a portrait of a friends son. He also was commissioned to do a triple portrait. His early landscapes were sold at an art show in the Bahamas. He received an award for a landscape painting being exhibited at an art show at the South Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In 2003 , Greg moved to Decherd, Tennessee, where his studio is now. In 2012, he moved to Jupiter, Florida. He is a member of the See I Me Gallery in New York City, New York. He participated in group art shows at See I Me Gallery in New York City, See I Me Takeover show in Times Square, New York City, NY USA, See |Me - Ones Self show at the World Trade Center in New York City, NY and SCOPE ART Show in Miami, Florida.USA.
Greg uses pictures for reference material. He will modify them to get an idea of the composition for his paintings. Some of his landscapes come from his imagination. He developed his technique by studying the art of renaissance and impressionist artist. Greg is influenced by Goya, Renoir, Michelangelo, and Monet.
